Text:  Head, Spann, McGregor: "Broadcasting in America"  - 9th Edition Houghton Mifflin Co.2001 (:ISBN-10: 0205555349) The 1998- 8th edition can also be used.

COMPONENTS OF THE GRADE: EXAMS and ATTENDANCE:

All Three Exams Must be Taken to Pass This Course. There will be only one chance for a make-up exam. It will be held forty minutes BEFORE the next week's class (6:10 PM). The make-up is only for students who were unable to attend on exam day - NOT for retakes! Note: there is no make-up period for Exam #3.The exams will be true-false and multiple choice. You will need a Scantron form and #2 pencil - available, in-person, at the  LACC Bookstore   There will be no extra credit assignments. All exams are non cumulative except for exam #3 essay question. They will include questions on lecture and audio-visual material.
