                                      WELCOME

Welcome to Windows 98! Even if you have never used a computer before, you'll find Windows 98 easy to use. It is has been designed to allow people like you to interact with computers, classmates, and the instructor.

This on-line course is designed to assist students to progress at his/her own individually pace.  A syllabus is provided that lists the schedule of assignments and their due dates.  Two textbooks will be used to provide Guided Activities and additional Lab Assignments for reinforcement of concepts.

Some of the benefits of Windows 98 are: its graphical interface, multitasking ability, ease with which to share data among applications, customizing the desktop and accessing the Internet, creating shortcuts on the desktop, Alternative ways to open and close windows, ways to access the web, managing disk files, viewing disk, files, and folders, viewing the folder hierarchy, using Windows Explorer, moving and copying files, backing up files.
