What The Student MUST Have For The CSIT 101Course

0. A PC running Windows XP or higher
1. Microsoft Office 2007 or Office 2010 (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
2. An email account.
3. An Internet browser, (Internet explorer 8.0, FireFox 3.5, etc.).
4. QuickTime for Windows, you may download it from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
5. Adobe Flash Player, you may download it from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
6. An ETUDES-NG account. Go to https://ETUDES-NG.fhda.edu/portal and be sure your username/password work.

7. An account at http://www.mygradebook.com. Mr. Flores will automatically create one for each student at the start of the course. This account is used by Mr. Flores to keep track of your grade
8. An Internet Connection to work from home/work
9. (Optional) A microphone to participate in CCCConfer webinars
10. (Optional) A speaker set or headset to participate in CCCConfer webinars

Students With Disabilities

Students requiring accommodations are responsible for making arrangements in a timely manner through the Office for Special Services (CH 109, 323-943-4000 X2270). All information will remain confidential.

Dropping The Class

Students who choose not to continue in the course are responsible for submitting a drop card to the admissions office. Failure to officially drop the course may result in a a grade of "FAIL". If, after the deadline to drop the student has an acceptable, doctor-documented reason (like hospitalization), a grade of  "Incomplete" would be more appropriate. When in doubt, communicate.
