Instructions for viewing: This site is designed using MS Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher. It will also work on Netscape 4.0 or higher. It is optimized for a display resolution of 800x600. It will work with 256 colors or better.

Rationale for the course: Incoming students from out of country, or out of state, (or local students) with little knowledge of the US film industry often have fundamental misconceptions about the nature of the motion picture business. Additionally they often do not understand the roles that film schools play in preparing for them a career in that industry. This class is designed to correct those misconceptions and provide current information regarding the link between film school and the workplace.
